My name is David Margolis. I repair, restore and service luxury and vintage watches from my workshop in Brentford, London. I am extremely dedicated to the study of horology. I took my first watch apart when I was just 8 years old. And I've not stopped since. My ambition is to make my own watches completely from scratch, like the legendary George Daniels. But that will take many more years of hard work. For now, I offer servicing, restoration and repairs. I use the best oils, original parts and always follow manufacturer recommendations to make sure my work is of the highest standard. For restoration work I also specialise in making replacement parts, electro-plating and re-springing hairsprings.
I take on repair, restoration and servicing jobs for all kinds of luxury watches, including vintage and antique pieces. I also take on "problem jobs" from other watchmakers, often where custom made parts are needed. I am fully insured and I provide a 2 year warranty for all my work.

Unfortunately, I don't work on digital watches or smart watches or clocks.

I'm unable to help with fakes and replicas.

Unfortunately I do not provide battery changes.

For small 'odd jobs' such as missing crowns or strap adjustments, I can only provide these as part of a full watch service.

Servicing watches can be costly starting at £250. Vintage watches and antiques will often cost £800 or more. A rough guide to Prices can be found here.

Full watch restorations can run into many thousands of pounds and take months or even a year.
